Established in 2017, we are a registered Indian NGO for animal welfare. We believe in kindness above all. We have designed different programmes to ensure immediate help for animals in distress followed by care and protection. Our fundamental idea is to create an environment topographically, ecologically, and socially that all animals in our country can breathe fearlessly. We aim to protect 5,00,000 abandoned, homeless, street animals in the next 10 years.
Our helpline centre takes immediate action upon receiving distress calls.
We treat the animals admitted in our hospital as well as conduct onsite visits.
Our shelters in three locations are permanent homes for ownerless, rescued animals.
We conduct adoption drives where pets get a chance to find their human!
We are Dehradun’s first shelter for abandoned animals. We provide food, daily care, and medical care to all the animals in our sanctuaries.
In keeping with the age-old heritage and spiritual realm, we have aligned our work by engaging in one of the most revered services – Gau Seva. Our Shri Krishna Dham Gaushala is the second largest gaushala in Uttarakhand. Here, we protect, feed, and provide shelter to ailing, starving, destitute and stray cows and bulls, majority of whom were either abandoned by their owners, saved from butchers, or found injured.
Animal Rights Portal is the region’s only hospital and rescue centre for street animals. Our helpline receives calls reporting injured and ill animals from Dehradun city and nearby villages.
During emergencies and disaster relief operations, we provide medical aid to affected or impacted animals.
Along with our core cause of protecting and providing care for abandoned and street animals, we have undertaken initiatives to extend support to the underprivileged communities during the hour of need.
